The New School is pleased to be able to extend the Global Offsite Fall 2020 Semester option for spring 2021 to eligible students. This offering complements the limited in-person curricular offerings on campus this spring. The Global Offsite Spring 2021
Semester opportunity is designed for students who currently reside outside of the United States and cannot travel to our New York City campus this spring due to the impact of COVID-19.
Through the Global Offsite program, students will take their New School classes online while gaining access to space resources and/or selected courses at the partner institution, provided that the partner school remains open, that students can safely
travel there from surrounding areas, and that there is capacity within the program negotiated with the partner by The New School. We are glad to be able to support our students with this opportunity while The New School begins to transition its New
York City campus to in-person learning, and we look forward to all students being able to safely return to campus as soon as possible.
Students currently enrolled at the Global Offsite partners below are automatically eligible to continue with the program for the spring semester and will be sent instructions by email to confirm their participation. Current Offsite students must
confirm their participation no later than November 25.
Students not currently enrolled in the Global Offsite may join a wait list for the eligible program by December 3. Join the wait list here. Please
be advised that the current Global Offsite program is nearly at capacity.
Although the Global Offsite Semester cannot accommodate all students in every country, our goal is to build options for as many of our students as possible in this challenging time. This site will be continually updated to provide the latest information on the Global Offsite option.
