Grid View List View Marisa LoBianco Senior Director of Career Development & Experience Marisa LoBianco, Senior Director of Career Development & Experience Marisa is focused on providing students with access to and preparation for experiential and employment opportunities. Dedicated to balancing student interests with employer needs, she aims to ensure that graduates gain a competitive edge in the job market. With more than 15 years of career counseling experience throughout New York City, she believes in a holistic approach to the career development process, with an emphasis on mindfulness. Marisa holds a BA in Psychology from Manhattanville College and an MS in School Counseling from Brooklyn College, is a Certified Professional Résumé Writer, and teaches in the graduate School of Professional Counseling and Leadership at Brooklyn College. Jennifer MacDonald Director of the Center for Graduate Career & Professional Development Jennifer MacDonald, Director of the Center for Graduate Career & Professional Development Jennifer has more than a decade of experience working with graduate students and has a deep understanding of their development needs. Before joining The New School, Jennifer managed the STEM Diversity Institute at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Jennifer is an active member of the Graduate Career Consortium and has studied in France, in Canada, and at Brandeis University in Boston, where she undertook her doctorate in comparative European history. Kevin Bukreev Associate Director of Industry Engagement and Experiential Opportunities Kevin Bukreev, Associate Director of Industry Engagement and Experiential Opportunities Kevin has more than ten years of professional experience in post-secondary education, in areas such as international student studies, admissions, student activities, orientation, and academic advising. Kevin is originally from Russia and has been living in New York City for many years. He earned his undergraduate degree at Baruch College and is pursuing an MS in Strategic Design and Management at Parsons. Hope Newman Graduate Career Advisor Hope Newman, Graduate Career Advisor Hope has counseled graduate students and alumni in disciplines including nonprofit management, policy, media studies, international affairs, design management, fashion, sustainability, creative writing, and music. She addresses topics ranging from job search strategy and career assessment to interviewing and salary negotiation. Hope holds a master's degree in group work from Hunter College School of Social Work and an undergraduate degree in comparative Japanese literature from Brown University. Her background in social work enables her to consider the biopsychosocial dimensions of students' career goals. Stavroula Koinis Industry Engagement Manager Stavroula Koinis, Industry Engagement Manager Stavroula previously worked as a career advisor and brings with her unique experience within the foster care and the criminal justice systems. She holds a BA in Psychology from Barnard College and an MSW from Hunter College. Stavroula is excited to apply her diverse experience to assist students at The New School. Heather Golden Industry Engagement Manager Heather Golden, Industry Engagement Manager Heather Golden last worked at The New School in 2014 when she left NYC to work on her doctorate in Higher Education. Heather has a background in both education and design and will be working extensively with undergraduate Parsons students. She loves combining her passions to create amazing experiences for students and employers. Heather holds a BFA from FIT and has presented on issues in higher education with a focus on LGBTQ issues at NASPA and AICAD. She is a Certified Designing Your Life Coach and has served in several leadership roles at arts and design schools across the country assisting students and future entrepreneurs. Heather will work to implement Designing Your Life, and NACE Career Competencies into the co-curricular career development programming.
