If you have comparable health insurance coverage and wish to waive participation in the Student Health Insurance Plan, you must complete an online waiver form. The deadline to submit a waiver or enrollment form for the fall 2023 semester is September 11, 2023.
An online waiver form must be completed every fall semester. New students admitted for the spring semester must complete this form before the spring deadline and again in the fall of the following academic year.
A waiver must be submitted only once each academic year. Waivers that were submitted in the fall will automatically roll over to the spring semester.
Please note that it is your responsibility to check your student account. You can monitor your account through my.newschool.edu (click on Electronic Bills, then View Account Activity on the Me tab) to verify that the appropriate credit appears in your student account. Your waiver will be applied to your student account approximately two to three business days after you are registered and billed for the semester.
