  • Are you or someone you know at risk of suicide? Get the facts and take appropriate action.

If you or someone you know is feeling suicidal, you can get help by scheduling a counseling appointment through the SHS portal. If it is a life-threatening emergency, please call Emergency Medical Services at 911 or Campus Security at 212.229.7001, or go to your nearest hospital emergency department. If you are a student living in Kerrey Hall, the Resident Assistant (RA) or Residence Hall Director (RD) on duty may also provide assistance during an emergency.
