Fall 2023 Admission Auditions
Audition times and dates are subject to change on the basis of faculty availability and weather conditions. Specific audition slots can be selected in the internal application portal once the application is completed. Recorded auditions must be submitted by February 1.
New York City Audition Schedules
Unless otherwise noted below, New York City auditions will be held on our campus from Tuesday, February 26, through Saturday, March 4. Auditions will take place in Arnhold Hall, home of the College of Performing Arts, at 55 West 13th Street, New York City.
Audition dates by concentration:
- Bassoon: Monday, February 27
- Cello: Sunday, February 26, through Monday, February 27
- Clarinet: Wednesday, March 1
- Collaborative Piano: Wednesday, March 1
- Composition: Wednesday, March 1, through Saturday, March 4 (online and on campus)
- Conducting: Tuesday, February 21
- Double Bass: Sunday, February 26
- Percussion: Tuesday, February 28
- Flute: Sunday, February 26
- Horn: Friday, March 3
- Oboe: Friday, March 3
- Piano: Sunday, February 26, through Thursday, March 2
- Theory: Tuesday, February 28 (online only)
- Trombone: Tuesday, February 28
- Trumpet: Sunday, February 26
- Tuba: Friday, March 3
- Viola: Tuesday, February 28
- Violin: Wednesday, March 1, through Saturday, March 4
- Voice: Wednesday, March 1, through Saturday, March 4
