The Public and Urban Policy PhD application for fall 2023 will close on February 3 at 5:00 p.m. ET. The program does not accept spring applicants.
To be most competitive for admission and merit scholarship consideration, please apply before the priority deadline. We will continue to review applications submitted after the deadline if space is available in the program. The Admission Committee

Prior Degree Completion
Master's or advanced certificate applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university or the equivalent degree from a foreign college or university. Applicants in the process of completing the bachelor's degree may apply for admission. Admission to the program relies on completion of the bachelor's degree.
Applicants to the PhD in Public and Urban Policy must hold a master's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university or the equivalent degree from a foreign college or university, in addition to a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Applicants in the process of completing their master's degree may apply for admission.

Our programs welcomes applicants from all walks of life, including working professionals, recent college graduates, and career changers. We have a holistic review of the application. GRE and GMAT
test scores are not required.
PhD in Public & Urban Policy
The doctoral program in Public and Urban Policy seeks applicants with academic and/or professional qualifications that prepare them for advanced research and practice in public policy analysis with an urban orientation. GRE and
GMAT test scores are not required.
