  • 20-21 Academic Year

  • As part of The New School, Parsons Paris is a community of innovators dedicated to new approaches, new ways of thinking, and new solutions. Today we are called to live these values, to bring our campus and community together in inspiring new ways, and to reimagine our educational experience in the 2020–2021 academic year. As we all continue to confront the ongoing challenges of the coronavirus pandemic, one thing remains constant: the value of a New School education.

The Fall 2020 semester runs from August 31 to December 18, with courses delivered in a hybrid format, combining online and on-campus learning.  In-person learning resumed on October 5.

    Key Features

    Teaching and Learning

To take into account the specificities of our programs and courses, program directors and faculty are adapted curricula depending on the specific content of each course, to ensure a rigorous and relevant learning experience.

Additionally, students will have access to a selection of signature online lecture and recitation courses offered by The New School.

    Access to Campus

The Campus opened on September 1 and remains open pending any new guidance from the French authorities. Any student who is in Paris and wishes to use Parsons Paris facilities may do so.

    Student Services

Whether in Paris or not, all students will be able to access Student Success and services either in person or remotely: advising, careers and internships, counseling, housing, visas, etc.

  • Future Updates

The spring 2021 semester will start on January 14 with New Student Orientation, and classes will resume on January 18, 2021. Most classes will be held in person, and a few will be online. This plan may change depending on the development of the pandemic and the mandates from the French government.
