  • Our undergraduategraduate, and student teams host a wide range of admission events throughout the year. You can learn all about our programs, the process of applying or transferring, preparation of a portfolio or audition repertoire, and life inside our classrooms and on our New York City campus.

UPDATE, January 10, 2022—Due to recent increases in COVID-19 cases in New York City and among our community, all non-essential and non-academic in-person activities on campus are currently suspended. The University Welcome Center will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 21. Those interested in learning more about our academic programs, admission requirements, or campus life are invited to connect online with a Welcome Center student assistant through our Welcome Center Virtual Desk. Virtual desk hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST Monday through Friday. No appointment is necessary.

For the spring 2022 semester, most of our admission events will be held virtually. Our in-person offerings will be limited to pre-scheduled admission counseling appointments and small-group campus tours.

Although we wish we could welcome everyone who would like to tour our campus, doing so at this time is not feasible. Tours for the spring term will resume on February 21. Those tours will be posted online for registration on January 24.

If you are unable to schedule an in-person tour, we encourage you to take our virtual tour and connect with us through one of our many additional online events.

Mandatory Health and Safety for All In-Person Visitors

Upon checking in for an in-person event and in accordance with NYC access rules:

All visitors must be fully vaccinated and present to the Welcome Center staff proof of a negative PCR test.

Proof of vaccination (e.g., CDC card—hard copy or picture or Excelsior Pass)—with a vaccine authorized by the U.S. FDA or for emergency use by the World Health Organization—and a negative PCR test result no older than seven days from the date of all on-campus events are required for access to campus facilities.

All external guests will be required to attest that they are currently experiencing no symptoms and are not actively in quarantine or isolation due to a positive test result, exposure, or recent travel.

  • Directions to Campus

Parsons tours, information sessions, and workshops begin at the Welcome Center, which is located at 72 Fifth Avenue (on the corner of 13th Street and Fifth Avenue) in New York City's Greenwich Village. Most students use public transportation to get around campus — we encourage visitors to do the same whenever possible. Use the links below to plan your visit to and around New York City.

    Driving

Traffic on Fifth Avenue is one way southbound; traffic on 13th Street is one way westbound. For a guide to New York City parking, visit NYC.com. There are several pay parking garages along 13th Street and in the area. There are also on-street parking meters nearby, but on-street parking is scarce on weekdays.
